This is a unique chance to directly shape how our engineering teams work. You’ll help pave golden paths, champion best practices, and ensure our systems are observable, reliable, scalable, and secure. Working within a highly collaborative group of skilled engineers, UX designers, and product managers, you’ll play a key role in making sure our internal platform is just as world-class as the product our users love.
We are looking for someone who brings a strong interest in cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, and the ways AI is reshaping modern engineering. You’re the kind of person who naturally takes ownership, thinks about the bigger picture, and genuinely enjoys both building robust systems and sharing knowledge with the engineers who rely on them.
What you’ll be working on:
- Operating Kubernetes on AWS, the foundation that our platform runs on
- Building AI-powered tooling that empowers our engineers. For example, automating root cause analysis for SRE and bringing cloud agents into developer workflows.
- Managing and improving our CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows with ArgoCD and CircleCI
- Building self-service infrastructure and developer tooling that cover the full path from onboarding and access through deploying and operating services
- Ensuring system reliability through observability, monitoring, and incident response practices
- Collaborating with product teams to understand their needs and remove friction from their workflows
- Creating documentation, runbooks, and advocating for platform best practices
About you:
- You have strong hands-on experience operating Kubernetes and AWS cloud platforms alongside confidence in using infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or OpenTofu.
- You are comfortable using backend languages like Go or those on the JVM to build CI/CD pipelines, shared developer platforms, and AI-powered tooling.
- You can comfortably own problems end-to-end without close oversight while maintaining clear communication, strong documentation, and a passion for knowledge sharing.
Applications from experienced backend developers will also be considered.
